I also taught at the acupuncture school in Maui around the millennium. Sadly, the school has closed. There are certain spots in the islands that had powerful Qi. I used to do Tai chi chuan or Qigong to test the energy and vibration in different places. I found that the Iao Needle on Maui and the North Shore on Oahu had extraordinary Earth Qi.
Hawaii is part of the Ring of Fire that connects it to Indonesia, Japan and the Philippines, places that have active volcanoes. The combination of Fire and Water makes for a powerful vortex of energy that we can tap into in our meditative and alchemical practices. I was licensed to practice acupuncture in Hawaii but I gave it up because I moved back to Pennsylvania.
